I... really didn't know what to title this.

But indeed, aviation was a more or less brand new technology during The Great War and it was the first major conflict that utilised planes for both reconnaissance and for fighting. It really did change things in a very big way.

Tri has spotted a (poorly drawn) Sopwith Camel (my favourite~) here. This drawing started out as something very different, the sketch was from months ago, but I recently started to do a little bit of research on aviation during WWI and I've always loved fighter planes, so I couldn't help myself I think I had The Wind Rises in my head too xP
I've sacrificed my entire weekend on this instead of researching the Uni things I'm actually meant to be studying... why o why D:

I also tried a bunch of new technical things with this drawing and it was fun! Backgrounds remain the bane of my existence, but I try.

(By the way, in case anyone wonders, the Tumblr blog in the watermark isn't actually public yet, but I plan for it to be... eventually xP)
