One Day I'll Fly Away

Been thinking about Columbine a lot recently, trying to figure out her character... (For those unfamiliar with her, she is from the book Mossflower and I have been cast as her voice for the Redwall animation project.)

I think she must have faced many hard days before leaving Loamhedge and I think she isn't the type of character to be caged in. Columbine will fight and not stand down to something that bothers her. I think she would have very much wanted to leave, but at the same time I think she is very loyal to Abbess Germaine and wouldn't have wanted to leave her and her fellow mice at Loamhedge to their fate either. Columbine would probably spend some nights alone, just thinking about what to do - how to solve this mess they were all in. Or maybe, just maybe, how it would be to just fly away, and leave all this to yesterday. One day...
