Oh, look, I made another one

I decided to change Shuriken's name to Jackdaw to have it better fit in with Heron's. Since they are related, I felt their names should share the same theme.

Jackdaw/Telor

Serious, intelligent and determined. Jackdaw has little sense of humour and can't understand why some would prefer lounging around doing nothing when they could be doing something interesting instead. He doesn't get along that well with his half-brother, Heron. While he does love him, their personalities and beliefs don't mix. Jackdaw is a pacifist who firmly believes in diplomacy over violence, while Heron is a warrior fighting other animals' wars. According to Jackdaw, if they have to interfere it should be by sending mediators, not fighters.

Unlike his brother, Captain Heron, Jackdaw chose a life without fighting. He refuses to use violence against another feline and prefers to either flee or try to reason with his enemies.

History
Jackdaw (or Telor, as his real name is) belongs to a large, caracal-like tribe of felines residing in a temperate zone by the sea. Their long legs and tails helps them balance as they climb the steep cliff sides they like to make their homes in. Each member of the tribe is given a nickname as a cub and only other tribe members may call them by their real names. This is because of their belief in the power of a name and to reveal their true names to an outsider is considered a great disgrace. They are generally peaceful creatures, but their alliance with a family of snow leopards in the nearby mountains does cause Jackdaw's tribe to get involved in their conflicts every now and then. When this happens, a troop is sent away to help the snow leopards fight and, most of the time, the majority of them do come back. Jackdaw's father was called into one of these skirmishes, but did not return. This more than anything led him to believe that violence never was the answer.

Once he was a young adult, Jackdaw left the cliffs to find his own home. He wandered far and wide, meeting many friends on the way. But he also heard many rumours of creatures in trouble and how some sort of "secret" organization were working to overthrow the lords and take over the land. They were gathering followers as they went and those who declined were hunted down and disposed of.

Jackdaw wouldn't stand for this and started some recruiting of his own, to find a group of brave animals who would stand up to the growing terror, by non-violent means. The work went very well for a time, but as the leader of "the resistance", Jackdaw quickly became a target for the enemy. He was good at hiding himself, but not good enough... One night they found him and Jackdaw's life was cut short.

His work was however not in vain; the others carried on his mission and were eventually joined by his brother, Heron, who lead them to victory.

(Also aaugh, I swear Heron and Jackdaw aren't linacals, Abalone-Da-SeaSnail ;__; I only just started realising how similar they look. I'm not trying to copy you, I promise T_T )
